　　項(xiàng)目概況

　　Purpose of Project

　　萬(wàn)科環(huán)萃園地處嘉興城市未來(lái)發(fā)展的重點(diǎn)區(qū)域，項(xiàng)目旨在提升城市界面氣質(zhì)，創(chuàng)造現(xiàn)代地標(biāo)性景觀(guān)。在設(shè)計(jì)之初考慮打破以往人們對(duì)示范區(qū)的高冷印象，以公園體系中的主要元素—中心草坪和環(huán)路為骨架，融入公園式的自然感受和互動(dòng)體驗(yàn)。

　　A modernistic interpretative demonstration garden based on differential two-dimensional Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometric theories within three-dimensional spaces, Vanke Huancui Garden is a place reserved for individual contemplation, discovery, validity, and interpretation.  The term “Huancui” (translated as “converging”) attempts to take shapes and lines postulated from common axioms and applies them to simplistic forms to capture the visitor’s attention while traversing through the garden.  Programmatic elements and themes are added to the plan layout to provide dimension and interest to the individualized spaces.  The expressions of “curve” and “time” are extracted as supplemental design elements, connected in series with the curve to further interpret the meaning of "circular extraction".  The garden offers a journey of exploration, one step at a time, as one follows along the gently curved loop that softly fluctuates in elevation. The design is reinforced through contrasting tactile elements of soft vertical planting and hard structures, organized to direct clear spatial movements.

　　關(guān) 于 “環(huán)” 的 遐 想

　　Inspiration of "Ring"

　　“環(huán)”本義為圓形而中間有孔的玉器，“環(huán)萃”寓意著匯聚，設(shè)計(jì)以“環(huán)”為主題，將環(huán)的元素應(yīng)用到整體布局、精神堡壘、售樓處入口、兒童活動(dòng)等場(chǎng)地中，形成視覺(jué)地標(biāo)，匯聚周邊人氣。

　　The original meaning of "ring" is a round jade with a hole in the middle." Huancui" means converging. The design takes "ring" as the theme and applies the elements of the ring to the overall layout, spiritual for tress, sales office entrance, children activities, etc In the venue, visual landmarks are formed and the surrounding popularity is gathered.

　　三條環(huán)線(xiàn)串聯(lián)起看房動(dòng)線(xiàn)，中心草坪和兒童活動(dòng)區(qū)，環(huán)環(huán)相扣構(gòu)建出整個(gè)環(huán)萃公園。

　　The three curves are connected on the pedestrian circulation, connecting the central lawnand the children's activity area, and the whole ring-shaped park is constructed by interlocking.

　　The Circular Circulation

　　停車(chē)場(chǎng)與售樓處入口的直線(xiàn)距離僅有30米，若是直達(dá)略顯無(wú)趣，設(shè)計(jì)之時(shí)用一條折曲線(xiàn)將停車(chē)場(chǎng)落客區(qū)與售樓處入口相連，雖增長(zhǎng)了看房動(dòng)線(xiàn)但通過(guò)景墻、花壇、鏡面景墻及背景水杉的圍合形成了引導(dǎo)性鮮明且具有趣味性的人行動(dòng)線(xiàn)空間。

　　This project proposed a new paradigm influencing garden design.  It commenced by researching and evaluating geometric theory, extracting its core elements and principles, and effectively translating them back with effective, thoughtful, and understood expressions.  Responses from visitors has been extremely affirmative: their consensus being it is fun, quiet, meditative, interactive, and nice place to escape.  It offers a “proofed” and vilified garden design, backed with bones and structure, rather than a random combination of arbitrary and capricious objects.

　　【鏡面區(qū)】

　　Mirror Area

　　道路與廣場(chǎng)相接的一端為鏡面區(qū)，雙向鏡面的折射拓展了空間感受，輔以燈帶的切割增添了空間的趣味性。

　　The end of the road connecting with the square is the mirror area. The refraction of the two-way mirror expands the feeling of space,and the cutting of the light strip adds to the fun of the space.

　　The challenge of a small, remote, and depressed site became an opportunity to create a significant garden space.  Key visual landmarks are revealed as one passes through them.  Convergent and divergent line theories are combined together within geometric structures.  Spherical and hyperbolic geometries are added through complex iconic shapes such as the torus, the ring, the ellipse, and the spiral; they each are broken down and transformed into tactile design elements presented within the garden.  Providing interactive park-like elements such as spiral-laced conical “trees” (painted white to signify geometric purity and further as an expression signifying full color saturation); simple linear geometric paving patterns and curving walls, both set with high-contrasting pigments, offers to set direction to be more importance than distance; and the rhythmic cadence of tree planting adds order and clarity to wayfinding through the garden.  The median or midspan of the garden is punctuated with a narrow linear corridor that is lined with lighted mirrored glass planes on opposing parallel sides.  This simply executed but highly memorable space enables the visitor to interact through a fourth dimension of time through an infinitely expanding and converging (Huancui) three-dimensional geometric space.

　　Sales Entrance

　　售樓處入口通過(guò)景墻的圍合，地面鋪裝與頂棚的呼應(yīng)，無(wú)不呼應(yīng) “環(huán)”的主題。

　　一條環(huán)線(xiàn)描摹的未來(lái)生活

　　The Future Life was Portrayed by One Circular Line

　　環(huán)形園路圍合而成的中心草坪佇立起一組環(huán)形的精神堡壘，與水景結(jié)合對(duì)外形成昭示性的城市界面。中心草坪自廣場(chǎng)西起地形，西側(cè)為兒童活動(dòng)區(qū)，人們繞中心草坪而行隨著地形起伏、空間開(kāi)閉體會(huì)到不同的空間感受。

　　The Childlike Gulf was Outlined by One Circular Line

　　中心草坪東側(cè)為兒童活動(dòng)空間，擋墻保證了兒童場(chǎng)地的獨(dú)立性，藍(lán)色塑膠地墊上的環(huán)形元素結(jié)合海馬造型活動(dòng)設(shè)施描繪出一個(gè)兒童海洋樂(lè)園。

　　Conclusion

　　至此，三條環(huán)線(xiàn)勾勒的時(shí)光之旅已接近尾聲，然而我們的故事還在繼續(xù)，設(shè)計(jì)勾勒于紙上，旅行躍然于生活之中。從設(shè)計(jì)到落地，是人與自然的重逢，也是空間與藝術(shù)的重逢。讓住進(jìn)公園，詩(shī)意的棲居不再遙遠(yuǎn)。
